Day 1: Cusco Planetarium Experience – in group – 2 hours experience
Since ancient times, humans have looked up at the sky and sought answers and connection with the universe, reflecting the earth in the sky to understand nature, systematizing it into calendars, and seeking spiritual and religious transcendence. We have prepared a unique experience at the Cusco Planetarium to reconnect with the universe, dream, and listen to ourselves. Just a few minutes away from Cusco’s Plaza de Armas, the Cusco Planetarium offers a dynamic and content-rich experience for adults and children over 7 years old. SHARED TOUR Tour program: 5:40 PM pick-up at Regocijo Square (All passengers wait at this square for transportation to the location) 5:55 PM arrival at the Cusco Planetarium 6:00 PM conversation about Inca astronomy in interpretation rooms 6:30 PM virtual projection of the southern sky on the dome: Inca constellations 7:00 PM telescope observation (weather permitting) 7:40 PM return to the city center Monday to Saturday: regular shared tour (starting with pick-up at Regocijo Square at 5:30 PM. If there is a higher demand, another tour will be organized (minimum of 4 passengers) starting at 7:00 PM. Sunday: Only private tours At the end of the experience: The visitor will learn to recognize the southern sky (southern hemisphere) Will learn about Inca constellations (different from those in the Western world) and the relationship between Andean man and the cosmos. Will observe through telescopes visible planets, stars, and/or nebulae in the sky.
