Day 1: Arrival in Lima – Transfer to the Hotel
Upon landing at Lima International Airport, our dedicated staff will be ready to welcome you and ensure a seamless transfer to your hotel in the vibrant capital city . The afternoon is yours to unwind after your international journey , explore the rich culture of Lima , indulge in exquisite local cuisine , or simply relax in the comfort of your hotel . TRAVEL ADVICE We suggest that you purchase your international flight to lima city at your preferred time, however, allowing the time to visit the most interesting parts of Miraflores. Visit the Kennedy Park, locally known as the “Cat Park” due to its feline inhabitants, The Parque del Amor, where you can spend your time, wandering around the stunning “Malecon of Miraflores”, with a panoramic ocean view of The Pacific. You can also do some handicraft shopping in Larcomar, a world class shopping centre built into the coastal cliffs and with unparalleled views of the Pacific. Day 2: Lima City Tour Full Day- 06 Hrs Tour
At agreed time, Our Guide will pick you up at 08:30 am to start with a fascinating full-day Lima City Tour. You will be able to appreciate the amazing contrast between the modern and historical aspects of the Capital. From the hotel, we will take a walk to Love Park from where we will delight in the city’s ocean view and there will be time to take pictures. We will then continue to the modern district of Miraflores which is the banking and business center of the city. Here there is a stop to visit Kennedy Park. This place is home to a Catholic church, the Virgen Milagrosa Church built-in 1939. The park also hosts the Municipal Palace , the headquarters of Miraflores’ local government. Then, we will immerse ourselves in the Surquillo Market. This enormous and genuine market is where the locals do their everyday shopping and where you can find excellent, quality food for amazingly low prices and is the preferred market of many famous Peruvian chefs. Afterward, we will head to Barranco which is a colorful district, known for its ‘bohemian’ lifestyle and local artist favorite district. You will visit also the Chabuca Granda Monument and some smaller squares where you can find everything from handicrafts and artisans to street food vendors and live performances. Then our transport will stop to have the lunch (on your own ). Following the tour, we will visit the Historic Center of Lima with its Main Square, Presidential Palace , and City Hall, Cathedral , and finally, we will take you to the great Saint Francisco Convent and its impressive underground Catacombs! Day 3: Lima - Cusco – Transfer Sacred Valley Hotel (Buy flights arriving in Cusco at the time of your preference)
Based on your flight schedule, our exclusive transport will pick you up directly from your hotel and take you to Lima International Airport. After a seamless one-hour flight, our professional team will be ready to greet you at Cusco Airport. From there, you’ll enjoy a comfortable transfer to your luxurious hotel in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with a refreshing cup of the renowned coca tea, the perfect start to your Andean adventure. Take the rest of the afternoon to relax and acclimatize in this stunning setting. Day 4: Sacred Valley of the Incas (Salineras, Moray and Ollantaytambo) + connection to Aguas Calientes
oday we will visit beautiful Inca villages with their colonial houses. On this unique and pleasant tour we will be able to appreciate the treasures that this sacred land hides. We will begin the day by visiting the experimental agricultural terraces of Moray in groups of circular terraces that measure up to 150 meters deep. According to historians, these constructions constituted an important Inca agricultural laboratory. Since their terraces are built with their respective irrigation channels and each of them constitutes a microclimate. What is most striking is the great difference in average annual temperature between the top and the bottom of the depressions, a difference of up to 15°C. Next we will go to the colonial site of Maras , a town that still preserves its Andean traditions and customs. We will be able to appreciate its beautiful architecture and its houses with colonial-style stone doorways. Then we will visit the Salineras de Maras . These mines continue to be exploited today, where farmers work day after day since the Inca era. We will then pass through Urubamba, a charming place watched over by imposing mountains, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch. We will delight in typical Peruvian cuisine with a variety of dishes that will include salads, soups, main courses, and delicious desserts. Finally, we will visit the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, a living town built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley, and prevent possible invasions. We will have a clearer idea of what this military, religious and cultural center was like during the Inca Empire. After the visit, we will board the Vistadome train to Aguas Calientes. Day 5: Machu Picchu – Return to Cusco
In the morning, at the agreed time, our guide will pick you up at your hotel to take us to the bus station, where for 30 minutes we will climb 400 m along a zigzag path to reach the incredible wonder of the world “The Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu” also known as “The Lost City of the Incas” . Upon arrival at the citadel with your guide, we will queue at the entrance of Machu Picchu and begin our tour of this mind-blowing archaeological site. For two and a half hours we will visit the main important sites within the citadel of Machu Picchu. After the guided tour, you will be given time to take pictures, before returning to the town of Aguas Calientes. You will be able to have lunch at one of the many restaurants (lunch is not included), after which we will board the Vistadome train on our return trip to Ollantaytambo (depending on the train departure time) and return along the same path we came. Day 6: Cusco City Tour (Cathedral, Qoricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay) – 05 hrs of tour
This day you will visit the best places in Cusco and its surroundings. We will start with the Cathedral, located in the Plaza de Armas, it is the main church of the imperial city, it was built on the palace of the Inca Wiracocha. The Cathedral has more than 300 paintings from the Cusco art school. Then we will visit the Qoricancha , in the Quechua language it means “temple of gold”, it was the first temple built by the Incas, it was formerly covered with large quantities of gold and silver. We will leave the city of Cusco and arrive at the Saqsayhuaman complex, famous for its enormous stone blocks of more than 150 tons. In the Inca era it was considered the temple of lightning, “the god Illapa”. Next, we will visit the temple of Q’enqo , a place dedicated to Pacha Mama (Mother Earth) where you can see carved stone constructions. Then we will arrive at the impressive Inca fort Puka Pukara, in the Quechua language it means Red Fortress. Finally, we will arrive at Tambomachay , where we will see the sacred temple dedicated to the cult of water that probably also served as a purification bath for the Inca rulers. Day 7: Hotel – Cusco Airport (Buy return flights at the time of your preference)
